Guestlink + Reviews


Guestlink + Reviews enables you to display your Guestlink property reviews on your own website to entice future guests to stay with you.

We offer three integration methods to ensure you get the best from the product.

Summary of Recent Reviews

 

The Summary of Recent Reviews option displays your 5 most recent reviews, with the title, date and rating with a click through for full details.

When the user clicks through to view the full review it will open in new window so the potential customer is not taken away from your website. This means they are more likely to book with you!

Displaying previous customer reviews on your website really is the perfect way to entice customers to book as they get a feel for your property and as this widget is small it can be fit on any page of your website.

To setup a widget, navigate to Channels > + Reviews and select the Summary of Recent Reviews from the Implementation drop-down and click save.

To get the coding; expand the Integrating Guestlink + Reviews section, copy and paste the coding to either add it to your website yourself or pass it to your web designer.

The Guestlink + Reviews widget will pick up the colours and styling from your website when the integration of the code is completed. It really is that quick and easy!

The widget is also designed to be fully responsive which means it looks great on desktops, laptops, tablets and mobiles.

All Reviews with details

 

The All Reviews with Details option displays all approved reviews from Guestlink on the left with a details panel on the right for the selected review.

This widget will pick up the colours and styling from your own website when the integration of the code is completed. It really is that quick and easy!

Integrate with + Web Booking

 
If you are currently using Guestlink + Web Booking in an iFrame or full page implementation you can add the reviews widget onto the page by ticking the option in Channels > + Web Booking.

Please note this option will only appear once you have signed up to Guestlink + Reviews. If you are currently signed up to Guestlink + Web Booking on an annual basis then you are entitled to Guestlink + Reviews for FREE, please contact Guestlink Helpdesk to get this enabled.


When a guest books through Guestlink or is added in Guestlink + Diary by yourself we will send a review request 3 days after their stay to invite them to complete a review for your property.

The review is automatically sent to your Guestlink account where you can see it to ensure that it is fair and factual before it goes live on your website.

The best part about Guestlink + Reviews is that it is a closed review system which means only customers who have actually stayed at your property are invited to leave a review.

You can choose your settings for the collection of reviews in eCommerce > Reviews and select the Set Review Opt-out menu for full options.
